🎉Another awesome EV This one is in China. It's an EV minivan that is actually sexy. It's called Zeekr 009 and it offers 510 mile range, and has 536 hp and enough torque to go 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The base version is under $70K, which includes air suspension, face and voice recognition systems, surround sound stereo system with 20 speakers and much more.
👍Toyota and solid state batteries Ever heard of "range anxiety" for EVs? It comes with driving an EV when the battery charge is getting low and the next place to charge the EV might be too far to make. Toyota has now designed a solid state battery which has a battery range of 745 miles that will charge in 10 minute. Toyota intends to use those batteries in EVs by 2027.
Solid state batteries have great range, but they can have issues in cold weather and don't last as long a lithium batteries. Still, Chinese EV manufacturer, Nio was the first to use solid state batteries and it will using them in all their model ES6 SUV EVs this year. Toyota is also designing EVs with hydrogen batteries, so the race is on!

🪨BlackRock updates The largest asset manager on the planet is US-based BlackRock. The company controls almost $9 trillion in assets and recently applied to the SEC for the first Bitcoin ETF (Electronically Traded Fund). The application was approved for review! Bitwise also had their application approved. The U.S. is still, at the very earliest, months away from issuing any crypto ETF. Meanwhile, the EU plans to unveil its first Bitcoin ETF within the next 2 weeks.
👗ZARA Fashion brand Zara is showing great leadership in sustainability. The brand is owned by a Spanish fashion giant called Inditex, who aims to reduce their carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. They will be targeting recycled materials and sustainably farmed original fibers. There is also Zara Pre-Owned to prevent clothing from hitting landfills.
