🫧A clean new option Do you use a plastic sponge to clean the dishes? How about a scrub brush for the pots and pans? If so, you probably have suffered through the awful smell and possibly the guilt of using plastics that will never biodegrade.
There's a better line of products that are available at The Container Store. Sqwishful is the female-founded company that is focused on compostable and 100% biodegradable sponges and scrub brushes. Products are plastic-free, and made from wood pulp, luffa, bamboo, and hemp. Get 15% off your first order.

🛞Honda's EVs coming in 2026 In the next 2 years, something mighty fine is coming to Honda's vehicles. The new EV Honda 0 Series is poised to deliver a new EV experience, with a focus on mobility. Honda is designing vehicles that will enable people to “transcend various constraints such as time and place,” and to “augment their abilities and possibilities.”
👀Look for better Acrylic is the byproduct of heating fossil fuels. When someone wears clothing made from acrylic fabric they are essentially wearing a plastic garment. Like all plastics, once disposed of, acrylic clothing will not biodegrade in a landfill. It will remain as trash for hundreds of years. It’s something worth considering when shopping.
Eco-friendly alternatives to plastic fabrics such as acrylic, polyester and nylon are: wool, organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and Tencel lyocell, which is made of eucalyptus trees. Clothing and fabric products that have the OKEO-TEX label ensures that they have been tested to be free of over 340 toxic chemicals.

📉The EV van is coming A classic vehicle with roots from the 1960's is making a comeback very soon. They're calling it 2025 ID. Buzz Electric van. It will have 10 times more horsepower than the original versions. No more slowly creeping up a steep incline. The ICE models were very noisy with the engine in the rear of the vehicle, and the EV version will be so quiet.
With a charging range of 240-250 miles, this could be a magical experience for those who like car camping and fun explorations. VW is not taking reservations for the clean energy van. They should be available at VW dealers by late summer/early fall 2024.
🛣️Renewable energy from roads Solar streets are roadways that generate renewable solar energy. The solar panels are embedded flush to the asphalt street surface in horizontal fashion. Peachtree Corners, Georgia has the first US installation. The energy produced by the roads is used for EV charging stations. This provides free charging to EV drivers. The solar panels were manufactured in France.
