🥳Fisker EV has a vision Get ready, Fisker started accepting preorders for its Ocean and PEAR models. Ocean models are slatted for delivery later in 2022 and the PEAR (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution) in 2024. The California-based EV manufacturer says it is working to make the trade-in process smooth and stress-free.
Cox Automotive has partnered with Fisker to develop its digital experience. The companies first offered the trade-in option and services such as credit app ordering in the U.K. last year. They are now expanding their agreement to deliver those services to U.S. customers, who will be able to initiate trade-ins through Fisker's Flexee app and website.

🧜🏻♀️Let's go SEAWEED! Also called macroalgae, seaweed is gradually getting the recognition it deserves globally as countries like the U.S. and China commit to growing it on a large scale. The U.K. is the latest to come on board, in April it opened the first seaweed industry facility in Scotland called the Seaweed Academy. It will leverage the sea plant’s health, economic, and environmental benefits. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, seaweed farming is economically beneficial.
Seaweeds can also absorb and eat up CO2; therefore, growing seaweeds commercially could help the world mitigate climate change. The seaweed industry generated $14.7 billion in 2019.
🤿Jacques Cousteau Over seventy years ago, the legendary Jacques Cousteau informed and delighted the world with his ocean exploration. He created glorious photography and cinematography about life in the oceans, and he shared with the world. Most would say he is the founder of scuba diving, as he was the first to experiment with the aqua lung.
His grandson, Philippe Cousteau has co-founded a seaweed and cannabis line of wellness products called Seaweed Naturals. Truly ironic how "weeds" are now providing the help the planet and people need.
♻️How green can a green farm go? Lex Corwin wanted to grow cannabis that could be commercially affordable and accessible using sustainable planting practices. In 2016, he took steps to build an off-grid biodynamic cannabis farm called Stone Road that uses underground water from an artesian well and natural sunlight to turn month-old seedlings into towering cannabis plants. Stone Road also grows plants on living soil and uses living organisms to control pests rather than synthetic pesticides.
The company said that its packaging is 99% recyclable and made from 100% post-consumer recycled goods. Stone Road now has its products in over 120 retail outlets in California and 55 in Oklahoma. The sustainable very green farm is in Nevada City, California, and they allow visitors from May to September if you call ahead.
🚢Battery operated ships? The U.S. startup FleetZero is looking at electrifying the shipping industry. Is that possible? Vessel ships contribute more than 3% of the world's total greenhouse gas emissions annually. In fact, the industry has depended on fossil fuels for centuries to operate. FleetZero founders Steven Henderson and Mike Carter believe they can successfully power and run vessel ships with batteries, and they have developed a way to achieve it.
Moreover, FleetZero is already gaining support from investors and plans to start developing its concept within the next three years. We wish FleetZero, and they are hiring!
