🌏Happiest countries on Earth The majority of people from all age groups feel the happiest in these two countries: Finland and Denmark. This was information was collected by the 2024 World Happiness Report. Interestingly, on the environment front, both Nordic countries have set a net-negative emissions goal.
Both countries also have strong connections to nature, and outdoor exercise even in the coldest months. This appreciation and love of nature makes it so easy to connect the dots: if you love and enjoy something, protect it! As the happiest country on the planet, Finlandhas the goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2035 and net-negative emissions by 2040. Denmark has set goals of net-zero emissions by 2045 and net-negative emissions by 2050.
Leading by example is most certainly a key to happiness, do you agree?

😡Great Pacific Garbage Patch What is not great, is human-created garbage in the Earth's oceans. It's comprised of over 85% plastic materials and it's bigger than the size of two states of Texas. It's in the Pacific Ocean. And it' growing.
"An estimated 33 billion pounds of the world's plastic trash enters the oceans every year, according to the nonprofit conservation group Oceana, eventually breaking down into tiny fragments. A 2020 study found 1.9 million microplastic pieces in an area of about 11 square feet in the Mediterranean Sea." reported Ben Tracy.
Kick that plastic addiction today, you have already become the owner of 21,000 pieces.
🚘A first for Georgia At the end of May, Korean auto manufacturer, Kia helped the state of Georgia to assemble it's first EV, with the Kia EV9. The SUV and will likely qualify for the $7,500 Federal tax credit/price reduction now that it's made in the United States.
The West Point, Georgia plant already builds three SUVs for Kia: Telluride, Sorento and the Sportage models. The 2025 EV9 is the first all electric vehicle to be manufactured in Georgia.
🗽NY is banning social media addiction Does it need to happen one state at a time? On Friday, New York state legislators passed Senate Bill SB S7694 called the SAFE (Stop Addictive Feeds Exploitation) Act. It aims to prevent kids from receiving recommended links created by the site's algorithms.
This means that all social media platforms will be prohibited from using their algorithms on anyone under 18 years old. Social media companies will be required to provide reverse-chronological feeds for users less than 18 years old.
About a week earlier, California legislators approved bi-partisan legislation in the Senate, SB 976 (Protecting Our Kids from Social Media Addiction Act). It will bolster other existing legislation: California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act and Privacy Rights for California Minors in the Digital World.
With freedom comes responsibility, and it's high time for social media companies to be much more responsible. It’s shameful they didn't have these protections in place themselves because they know right from wrong, and harming children is always wrong.
