🌲A floating park Northern California has one of the most unique floating parks. What's a floating park you ask? Well, appearances can be deceiving. The park actually lives on the rooftop of the Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco and spans 4 city blocks starting at 425 Mission Street.
Salesforce Park provides 5.4-acres of beautifully arranged vegetation with over 600 delicate trees and 1,600 plants, and it offers visitors a great view of San Francisco and the sweet feeling that they are on top of the world! It's tiny compared to Golden Gate Park which is 1,017 acres and The Presidio which is 1,491 acres, but it all adds up, right?

🗣️Google's air raid alerts As part of Google's effort to protect people in Ukraine from Russian assaults, Google has introduced a rapid air raid alerts system for Android users in Ukraine. The feature will work on phones with Google Play Services. To use the feature, Ukranian Android users would need to turn on the Location Settings (or the Safety & Emergency Settings for phones with Android version 12).
Kent Walker, Google's president of global affairs, said: "At the request, and with the help, of the government of Ukraine, we've started rolling out a rapid Air Raid Alerts system for Android phones in Ukraine," Walker wrote. "This work is supplemental to the country's existing air raid alert systems, and based on alerts already being delivered by the Ukrainian government."
🤷♀️Is it true, Google? It remains to be seen, but when Google releases it's version 100of the Chrome browser, it will not have the data saving mode called Lite Mode. This means less data will be used by the device when browsing, and web pages will load faster.
Now if Google would stop tracking users activity. At the heart of tracking, Google profits enormously by selling that data to companies so they can then exploit consumers in a subconscious fashion with ads and articles. By deploying targeted information and marketing on all of us, Google abuses the fiduciary trust businesses owe to consumers. This is an example of the integration of technology and culture at its worse.

➗Amazon's likely stock split Amazon, the eCommerce giant has struggled to keep the price of its stock up and retain its staff, which, according to Amazon, resulted from ongoing competition within its sector. Amazon is ready to implement two strategies to address their challenges.
If approved by its shareholders in the next annual general meeting in May, Amazon plansto implement a 20-for-1 stock split on June 6 to attract more investors. It would be Amazon’s fourth stock split since its IPO in 1997. The last split was in September 1999.
As for employee retention, Amazon has announced upping base pay from $160,000 to $350,000. Big moves for 5th largest company (by market cap) in the world.
👨President Biden and crypto The current sanctions on Russia’s financial institutions likely caused U.S. President Biden to sign an executive order on March 9 pertaining to cryptocurrency. It is very comprehensive in scope and addresses not only the energy used to mine crypto, but also consumer protections for users, the development of a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency or CBDC, national security threats and more as outlined in the six major objectives.
It appears that Biden is seeking a responsible framework to make cryptocurrency a viable financial option and opportunity. Here's the link to the 40-page Research and Analysis from the U.S. Federal Reserve, The U.S. Dollar in the Age of Digital Transformation on digital currency. It was completed Jan 20, and has yet to take a position on approving a digital dollar.

💥Apple's newest iphone SE The new iPhone SE was among products Apple unveiled at its ‘Peek Performance’ event held on March 8. The iPhone SE is considered the budget iPhone model and yet it will run on the latest software version with its fast processor, and have 5G capabilities, improved durability, better battery life, and high camera quality like iPhone 13.
Apple has released two versions of the SE in the past, and they sold like hotcakes. While they provide a great value for consumers and only a small profit for the company, Apple can augment their ecosystem of other products and services the company offers. Apple is scheduled to have them available on March 18 at $429.
🍎Apple’s ‘Peek Performance’ event on March 8 If you missed the event, Apple launched a list of products and revealed several new devices, software, and features it plans to release in the coming weeks. They include:
• The new iPhone SE
• A New iPad Air with M1 chip, optional 5G, and faster USB-C
• New software versions iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4

• New iPhone 13 and 13 Pro colors
• Colors for iPhone cases and Apple Watch bands
• An advanced Mac Studio, alongside a 27-inch 5K Studio Display Monitor, an Add-on Height Adjustable Stand, and a Nano-texture glass
Apple also announced launching HomePod Mini in Belgium, Netherlands, and Switzerland by the end of March.
🍁Now smaller brands Mary Jones soda, anyone? The Seattle-based beverage company Jones Soda is taking a strategic entry into the cannabis industry with its new division called Mary Jones brand. Launching will initially be in California on April 1st. Consumers will be able to choose from 10mg THC infused 12 oz bottles of soda to 1,000mg THC infused syrups and 5mg THC infused gummies. Skip the hang over and rowdy behavior with these options.
Jones intends to acquire all Pinestar shares and convert the debenture into shares in SOL to expand its business to produce and sell cannabis-infused beverages and edibles. Jones trades on the OTC Markets under the ticker symbol JSDA.
