🔐T-Mobile's security breach Cyberattacks on T-Mobile's database in 2021 compromised valid information of up to 76.6 million people in the U.S., including some of the company's staff. T-Mobile has now reached a settlement with lawyers. The telecommunications company will pay $350 million to all those affected by the breach.

However, T-Mobile also agreed to invest another $150 million in building its data security and related technology between this year and 2023. The final settlement terms, now at the United States District Court in Missouri, could be approved before December.

🌊Superfood with highest marks Seaweeds are finding their way into the diets of many people across the globe, and it's hard not to wonder why. When you imagine an edible plant that contains all essential nutrients in rich quantity, it is the seaweeds. According professor of food science and human nutrition at the University of Maine, Mary Ellen Camire, aquatic vegetables are rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber, and vitamins. A study also found that seaweeds contain healthy vitamins ten times higher than terrestrial plants. In addition, their natural and sustainable origin makes them very safe for consumption.

Our June 6 issue of AGREEN1 noted how ecologically important seaweeds are and how they can help overturn climate change. And whether or not you are vegan, seaweeds can fit into your daily diet plan. Have you ever tried out a seaweed food?

👍New Jersey leaning green Charge Up New Jersey, New Jersey's electric vehicle incentive program will continue for the third consecutive year. The Garden State will pay residents up to $4,000 to purchase or lease EVs and plug-in hybrids that cost below $55,000, and New Jersey would offer a $250 rebate to residents who decide to build EV charging stations in their homes.

Gov. Murphy's administration introduced the Charge Up New Jersey EV incentive program in February 2020. And in the first two years of the program, New Jersey added more than 13,000 EVs to its roads. Gov. Murphy is hopeful that the incentive program will help N.J. achieve its goal of having up to 330,000 EVs running on its roads by 2030. He also announced a series of funds to build EV charging units at tourism sites and complexes across the state.
